Each of these online marketing tools can give you very favorable results when managed properly, but few know that you can achieve even more favorable results by combining the two. By combining both SEO and PPC in an integrated online marketing strategy you can maximize each ones strengths and minimize each ones weaknesses. The result gives
you a very powerful online marketing strategy that
will deliver you greater exposure and faster ROI (Return on investment).
1. Dominate organic and paid search
By combining SEO and PPC you will be able to dominate both organic and paid search results. The same keywords that are profitable for PPC can also be used for SEO.
2. Improve CTR (click through rates)
A PPC campaign in combination with SEO will help you to create more compelling content which will be beneficial for both your search ranking and PPC click through rates.
3. Increase your conversion rates
When a potential customer sees your PPC along with your organic search result the chances that they will covert into paying customer increase tremendously.
4. Find the best keywords
PPC is a great tool that gives you measurable results and tells you exactly which keywords and ad copy is the best combination. Once you know which ad copy and keyword combinations gets the best results you can apply them to your SEO strategy as well.
5. Get Maximum exposure
When your business get displayed in both the top PPC spot and organic search results you are essentially pushing one of your competitors of the first page of Google. This will significantly increase your brand awareness and give you maximum exposure.
6. Establish a strong online presence
When you integrate SEO with PPC you establish a strong online presence. By dominating the top search results you will help protect your online reputation.
7. Optimize your spending
Integrating your SEO and PPC efforts can help you maximize the efficacy of your marketing efforts and optimize the spending you need to do to finance your campaigns. With a combined marketing approach, you can make adjustments to your expenses accordingly and allocate resources according to the insights you gain from your campaigns.
8. Improve each tool independently
Insights you get from an integrated SEO and PPC can teach you how to improve each of these digital marketing tools independently. Organic testing of keywords and content will take a long time. Using PPC campaigns to test the efficacy of keywords can improve your content as well as your meta titles and description tags, drawing in more organic traffic from natural search results. This will in turn create a big impact on your quality scores. This translates to greater savings in terms of lesser cost per click, as well as better ad positions for an improved overall PPC performance.
9. Provide in depth market analysis
With an integrated SEO and PPC approach to marketing, you'll get better insights and analysis of your targeted market. PPC advertising is great for testing and getting immediate feedback from your targeted market. SEO on the other hand provides a more in-depth analysis of consumer behavior based on long-term traffic, giving you greater insights on other consumer metrics you wouldn't gain from short-term PPC results. Combining both knowledge gives you a deeper understanding of your targeted market - prepping your business up for eventual domination.
10. Boost E-commerce sales
Many businsses are taking the e-Commerce route towards online success. Even enterprises with more specialized core products and service offerings incorporate e-commerce elements into their online presence to create better brand awareness or boost supplemental sales. Whatever business model it may be, combining PPC with SEO will definitely boost your e-commerce performance. An integrated approach is geared towards attracting highly targeted traffic from both natural and paid channels - essential traffic that according to a Market Live study will boost site revenues by up to 44%.

See: lots of people post files of any kind on their websites to share them with friends. Those files are "protected" by not mentioning them. There's no
visible link given, and for literally hundreds of thousands this seems to be enough.
What they don't know: There are many nice techniques to locate the invisible stuff.
I don't want to get in too deep - and as I'm rather new here it's possible some of the tricks might have been posted elsewhere.
But if you want to find lots of music the way I described it - and want other people doing the "dirty" work I recommend:
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
A free message board - gathering place of the best "dex hunters" in the universe. There you will find loads of *fresh* (!) mp3 links. Not only this - they update with lightspeed. This is a site you won't visit
once a month or once a week. I visit them hourly, and I know why.
CODE http://www.fionasforum.com/Stairway/Remember: as soon as a fresh dex is posted there,
it will be invaded and can die within hours. But I swear there will be enough left for your needs.
Curious?
Wanna try it for yourself?
Try this one. It's a search bot, and instead typing
complicated data strings for Dex Hunting just type
what you're looking for, and the bot does the rest
for you. Sounds nice, huh?

I mean they get a very good number valid clicks for Adsense but still the estimated earning is too low. For an example, some peoples get 50 clicks in a day and still estimated earning remains $0.82! This is a really unexpected and annoying earning. Though, I can say, It really not your fault for this much low earning. In actual, lower rate of CPC i.e. Cost Per Click is responsible for this low earning. You must have noticed that Google AdSense shows relevant Advertises according to your post contents. This means the advertises show on a website is related to the keywords used in a particular post of a blog. Cost Per Click is related with these keywords. Google will not pay you an average earning rate for these clicks. Sometimes you can get $2.5 for a single click, and sometimes they will not give you a combined $2.5 for 30 clicks. CPC rate depends on the Advertises that people have clicked. If a visitor clicked on a high paying advertise, then you will surely get a good money. As I stated in the beginning of this post, Ads are displayed in accordance with the keywords of your content. If you have entered higher paying keywords in your post then you will get a high rate of CPC. So here in this post, I going to share 70 high paying keywords for you AdSense advertises. It is clear that all the keywords given here will not be suitable for your niche of your blog/application. Just try and find the keywords that are related to your blog and website and push hard to use them into your blog post.
service? Not necessarily true. A lot of times, free web hosting and paid hosting offers the same security, network bandwidth and port speed. The only difference is the hosting features included. These features include additional disk storage, data transfer, more scripting support, more email accounts, etc. For a business opening a new website, or for any regular website, the disk storage and data transfer offered by a free web hosting service would be sufficient. It takes time to grow a website and accumulate enough visitors to max out the storage and/or data transfer limits of a free web hosting package. You can always upgrade your service from the free web hosting to paid hosting when the time comes. Most small businesses do not need more than 5 email accounts. The more accounts you have just means the more time you have to spend managing them. Many free web hosting providers offer email aliases (or email forwarders) that allows you to create the illusion of having many different email addresses but in fact all emails to these aliases are redirected and managed by one account. Unless you are planning on using applications that require advanced scripting support (ie. a content management system, an e-commerce shopping cart, etc.), your web files will simply be of HTML and image files. HTML and image files do not require advanced scripting support - any free web hosting services will do. In conclusion, unless your website require the specific features offered by the paid hosting plans, free web hosting services might be all you need and especially if you are aiming to save on money without compromising on the performance. Getting free hosting is easy with some links I'm going to post here... https://googiehost.com/ https://www.x10 hosting.com/ https:// www.000webhost.com But the free web hosting posted above are not that perfect as you want them to be because of unstable server, low data storage and others. And if you are Willing to get a premium web hosting as cheap as paying nothing Then you can opted in for DOMAINKING at http://clients.domainking.ng/index.php You can start with anyone here especially newbie... Like perhaps Post a comment if you find this piece useful.. *cheers* :)

duplicated. Moreover, this worry seems to stem from the fact that SEO’s are unsure as to what exactly is duplicate content. Duplicate content is a big issue which affects both SEO and content marketing. Unique content for SEO Search engines want to filter out duplicative content – this means they don’t want to show things that are the same. Search engines don’t want to show a set of results where all the rankings show the same article which contains the same content, photos etc. Search engines like Google know that users won’t like having a whole list of sites with the same content, which completely makes sense. However, it does leave us asking, how unique should I be with my content? Unique content for content marketing Firstly let’s explain the term unique content; this refers to the unique material on a page. When you break it down and exclude the likes of footers, ads and sidebars etc., this leaves a low percentage of page space which contains text. If you’re worried about having pages with light content, don’t worry about it too much as this is a common occurrence with many sites. What really matters is the unique value of the content which fills this space. Duplication applies to internal and external sources Internal – engines will try to ignore this if it’s occurring in small and subtle amounts happening here and there. There’s a reason for this, such as search engines accommodating for different versions of your pages such as mobile and print etc. External – you can include text from other sources but don’t overstep the mark here. By all means take a paragraph from Wikipedia or cite a blogger including some of their phrases or even use a YouTube video to supplement your content. It’s not duplicative as long as you’re adding unique value to this. This means you need to add your own insights into the piece, whether it be unique photo content or unique insider tips and comments. If you’re not adding value then it’s not unique enough for the search engines and why would it be if all you’ve done is a copy and paste. One more thing, a lot of SEO’s discuss a magical % of unique content that your pages should have. I’m sure I’ve even seen tools which assess your pages and give you a value of their uniqueness compared to this mythical perfect score. Well, it truly is a myth there’s no perfect percentage score that your pages should have. For Google this doesn’t exist so why should it exist for SEO’s? The algorithms are far more sophisticated than a specific percentage for unique content. Many different aspects are checked and scrutinised to deliver the best possible search results such as backlinks, comments, and social signals even domain authority can also play a role here. Finally, please remember that due to the Panda update duplicative content in one area of your site can harm your whole site. If you’re nervous about this you can robots.txt this content so robots don’t crawl it and you can make use of the rel canonical tag.

including that of web content writing aims at
persuading prospects into accepting what you have
to offer or taking an intended action.
Whether you want your audience to buy something,
subscribe to something or believe in something, the
written word has a big impact on the final outcome.
With a single objective of persuading audience in
your favora
follow these steps to achieve their content goals -
1. Using the Word "Because"
Your content, at all times, needs to provide answers
to your prospects as to why they should take the
action you expect them to. Using the word
"because" in your content is a highly powerful way
to achieve this.
2. Finding ways to Anticipate any Objections
Whether the content you are creating intends to sell
a service, product or idea, make sure it is able to
holistically address all possible objections your
readers may raise.
3. Finding ways to Incentivize Readers to Continue
Reading
Known as seeds of curiosity in the world of content
writing, these are essentially short phrases Such as
"Furthermore", "Not only that", "In addition to this"
and "But here comes to the best part... " These will
help you keep the readers interested in moving
through your copy.
4. Include Statistics
Adding statistics and information in your copy is a
great way to add credibility to your content.
However, it is important that you do your research
well, considering any wrong kind of information can
seriously backfire and hurt your reputation.
5. Get Real about the Benefits
Using true benefits is an effective way to connect
with the desires of the reader. Making up fake
advantages to your offering can have the exact
opposite reaction to persuasion.
6. Get Passionate about What you are Writing About
The more you believe in the product or idea you are
writing about, the more it will shine through your
content. If you are not passionate about the
offering, what will motivate the readers to take any
kind of action?
7. Getting into the Mind of a Beginner
While you may consider yourself a seasoned expert
on the subject, chances are that your reader may
not be as well versed with the subject. While
creating content, you need to assume that your
reader knows nothing about the topic and start right
from the basics.
Furthermore, it is a lot easier to write about a
subject and be persuasive when you know your
stuff well. Make sure you conduct thorough
research on the topic in question so that the final
outcome is an informative one.
8. Appealing to the Left and the Right Brain
Find ways to include facts, stories and quotes into
your content. By finding the perfect blend between
emotional and logical approaches, you will be able
to appeal to a variety of prospects with varied
decision making behaviors.
Finally it is important that you don't hard sell to your
prospects right from the beginning. Start by
educating them, informing them about your cause
and finding ways to help solve their needs. By
becoming a trusted source of information, your will
be able to become more persuasive in the future.
Writing persuasively on your website, blog or other
marketing collaterals can help people understand
your point of view quickly - and take the desired
action.
One of the nicest things about earning money online
is that you are able to do it from the comfort of your
own home. Of course a lot of this depends on the
type of industry you work in, but generally speaking
you have much more flexibility when you work an
internet career than any other type of industry you
could choose to work in.
On top of that working online allows you to choose
the type of work you want to do. Could you imagine
working a job from your own home on a subject that
you love and enjoy? By looking at making money
using the internet this actually could be a reality!
Putting Your Plan Into Action
Of course it is all well and good saying you want to
make money online but that is not enough. Instead
you need to look at how you are going to go about
this, have a plan of action and implement it. Working
online does not have to be hard work but you do
need to know what you want to achieve and how
you intend to get there.
The Benefits of Becoming an Internet Entrepreneur
So, you want to become an internet entrepreneur?
Well good for you! There is nothing quite like taking
control of your future, being your own boss and of
course being able to work from home! In this day
and age many of us are just grateful to have a job -
but do you ever go home after a long day and feel
frustrated that you get the same wage no matter
how hard you work?
When you set yourself up to earn money from the
comfort of your home you have the motivation that
the harder you work the more money you earn -
and what can be nicer than that? If you're not afraid
of hard work then it can be amazing to know that
your hard work is going to pay off and you'll be
rewarded.
What You Can Do
There are lots of micro-businesses that you can set
up online or ways you can make money using the
internet. Set yourself up as a freelancer via
websites such as People Per Hour, sell your crafts
via Etsy or download a guide for becoming an
internet entrepreneur and see what ideas and
inspiration that gives you.
There are different guides you can read about how
to make money online so having a read through of

writers today is - "How do I write a copy that
facilitates conversions?"
More often than not, the success of any web
marketing project often relies on the quality of table
content - and the impact it has on the target
audience.
A classic example is your search rankings which
are often dependent on the traffic volume of your
page, which is in turn dependent on the quality of
your content. By compromising on your content,
you are essentially placing yourself in a never
ending Catch 22 situation.
Here are a few web writing best practices to
consider for positively influencing your conversions
-
· Consider your Web Copy as the Means to an End
The only way you can achieve real results is by
setting realistic goals. Start by setting your
objectives and then finding ways to achieve them.
This process can be taken to a micro level by
setting unique goals for every individual piece and
then finding ways to write the best possible copy to
achieve that objective.
For instance, if you are creating content for a sign-
up form, your copy will have to focus on getting as
many qualified leads as possible to actually fill out
the form or sign up with your website. When writing
for the web, you may be expected to leave out the
"poet" in you and focus on a more strategic or
analytical approach that helps providing information
that your customers need to make the correct
decision.
· Focusing on Optimization vis-Ã -vis Web Copy
The key to writing effective content for your website
is by considering it as an aid for customers to make
the right decision. While the decision making
process takes place in the minds of the customers,
it is the optimizing of the content that is in the
hands of a content writer. The best way to
contribute to this process is by making sure your
content answers all these questions -'Why, What,
When, Where, Who?'
· Make a General Assumption - No One Wants to do
What you are Asking them to Do
It is not uncommon for us to come across copy that
is either completely generic (Sign up now, Call
NOW, Click here!) or copy that is extremely sales
oriented (Looking for the best ABC in the market,
your wait is finally over!).
However, experience suggests that neither of these
approaches actually contribute to the conversion.
Why? You may ask. The real issue is that neither
one of these approaches actually helps convey any
value nor do they give functional reasons to by your
customer should say "Yes" to your offering.
Writers must stop assuming that their prospects are
simply dying to do whatever the marketer asks of
them. By assuming the exact opposite, you will
essentially force yourself to think longer and harder
about the value your content is conveying and
ways in which you can appeal even to the most
stubborn prospect.
An authority site in my parlance is ANY website
that gets "trust" from it's ideal audience, by virtue of
it's very being.
And trust, as you are about to see... is NOT created
equal online.
For example, while it's obviously done... it's actually
very TOUGH to earn $1000 a week from scratch in
a conventional "this is my business" type of blog.
In other words, setting up a blog where you post
about how smart you are by sharing strategies, or
how much experience you have, or how well you
are doing in A, B or C niche, market or industry.
That sort of trust takes a LONG time to earn.
On the flip side?
Creating an authority site that offers INSTANT value
to your ideal audience, the PUBLIC, and other
professional folks in your niche is dead easy to set
up, earns "instant" trust, and doesn't really require
YOU do much of any selling at all.
A good example of this sort of site?
A local directory that caters to a specific
community, niche, market, industry or geography.
All you need to do to set up THIS sort of authority is
to be the one who was proactive enough to set up
the site. (and then seed it with some content and go
out and promote it to the public)
Or, a Q and A site. Again, you can do this in a niche
or industry... OR, even better, in a given
geographical area instead. (like a real estate or
lifestyle Q and A in a resort city, or a topical Q and
A in a high value niche like credit, finance, or
otherwise)
If you think about it for a minute... these sorts of
sites INHERIT a lot of authority and the
PERCEPTION of expertise, simply because they
exist. As someone who travels a lot, If I'm
searching for information on a specific city and I
find a Q and A or forum on a given topic that has a
fair amount of user engagement, I'm very inclined to
almost subconsciously... and automatically, believe
it's authoritative. I'm also more inclined to click on
the ads, or buy a guide, or solicit the advice of the
professionals or proprietor who runs the
community.
In my own business... I've used authority sites to
create online ASSETS (as they have value) as well
as to use these asset to position MYSELF as an
expert or authority in the niche that I'm targeting.
Then, I'm able to approach the people who WORK in
that niche with online "agency" offers that build off of
the trust they invested in me by owning something
notable in our niche.
Want to sell online services to realtors where YOU
live? Build a real estate directory in your town. Want
to target young single people who need help building
BUZZ for their blog or professional profiles? Or,
maybe you want to help new companies build BUZZ
for their brand where you live?
Create a job board that serves your community -
both the people looking for work, as well as the cool
companies looking to hire the best talent around.
The truth is, you can earn $1000 a week in a
myriad of ways selling services to the folks who
you want to SERVE who use your authority site, or
you can monetize your project through ads,
membership fees, ebook sales, coaching and
consulting offers, or MY favorite approach, selling
higher end coaching and consulting that really
DOES work wonderfully well for folks who need
marketing help in my local community.
The first 2K I ever earned online? It took me 3 days
to finish, and gave me the light bulb moment that
brought my business alive. It wasn't through affiliate
marketing, or ebooks, or gimmicks, gadgets or
gurus. It was by simply building something like
above, and then SELLING that site to someone who
wanted the "authority" that site would earn. (in this
case a small dental Q and A blog that the dentist
who bought it close to a decade ago... still uses to
sell his "expertise" to this very day)
An authority site is NOT a magic bullet. It IS a
competitive advantage though that will allow to not
only LOOK a lot smarter than you may already feel,
but it also offers you a whole lot of instant gravitas,
and marketing flexibility to be able to ADD value to
your audience on day 1.
so it can all work out. In order to achieve this keywords need to have following features:
1. they need to be related to the product or
better to what the potential buyers are looking
for in the product,
2. they have to target a person who already is a
buyer and not someone who just wonders
around,
3. they need to be low competition keywords so
you don't spend ages trying to get listed,
4. they need to have sufficient number of
searches and sufficient traffic to keep things
moving forward for you and keep sales rolling
in,
5. adopt a "gentle " approach to keywords, a rule
of thumb to meet the above criteria,
6. never lean towards extremes, there is a
reason why a keyword has the lowest
competition because no one is searching for
it and therefore no one tries to get listed for it
either.
Google wants you to know how to find keywords for
a web site?
Your main device to do that is Google Keyword Tool.
It is absolutely free, you'll never have to pay a
penny for it and it is probably the most accurate
one. The difference between Google and most paid
keyword tools is interface, additional functions
(calculated form Google provided data) and ability to
store results. I usually us Google along with
something else as I do like to store my results but I
also like to check competition on Google as I find it
more accurate and realistic in terms of being able to
rank high in search results.

business. With more and more consumers using their portable Internet-connecting devices
nowadays to shop or see what services they need and would like to quickly acquire, it's imperative to
set up an online presence right away and target the share of the market that prefers to carry out activities online. For this strategy, it's not necessary to start off with a website, which can be a bit pricey; social media platforms can be used
instead, especially because they're free and it's quicker and easier to build a network of connections
using them.
The goal here is to make sure that the business can be found in the same place where the target audience is. However, while social media sites are
very popular and people are known to spend as much as seven hours a day on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and others, it always proves to be most advantageous to create a website after setting those up. This official virtual location where
all sorts of business activities can effectively be carried out is a must, for it will serve as the online
store, the marketing hub, the blog, the forum, etc.
The thing about creating a website that allows all these activities to be carried out, though, is that it's
very technical and extremely time-consuming.
New business owners can easily get overwhelmed by the demands of maintaining the site and this is
why Web hosting is highly recommended for them.
Web hosting companies have a team of properly trained people who can take care of website management and make sure that it's free of issues
that can compromise the service the website is expected to deliver.
It's also worth noting that with website hosting, it's easier to ensure a positive experience for users at
all times; Web hosting is dedicated to consistent website performance, even with new installed
programs, features or functionalities to effectively engage site visitors or users. Likewise, with Web hosting, a business can powerfully utilise different types of content to present what the business is all about and the relevance of all its offerings in the
lives of the members of their market.
Another important advantage of Web hosting is that it permits businesses to create large databases for
all the files they use - videos, info graphics, vast collections of product images, articles, and so much
more. There are still so many other advantages that website hosting offers, but all of them just prove
how important it is as a component of a business's online strategy and it would be unwise of new businesses to overlook it as a provision to advance their operations.
What would you do for just $5? Well, there are
plenty of people across the web (and the rest of the
world) who are perfectly willing to do practically
anything for $5. That's thanks to a site known as
Fiverr.
All about Fiverr
Fiverr is an online marketplace that allows people
from across the world to offer tasks and services
(gigs) to potential clients. The site gets its name
from the lowest amount that each user can charge
for gigs to sell, which is $5 USD. This is known as a
"microtransaction" website. Fiverr is the largest in
the world of its kind.
Even though most gigs are priced at $5, their
services generally range between $5 to as much as
$500. The site also allows users to offer Gig Extras
or peripheral features (add-ons) that complement
their main gigs.
All sorts of freelancers and hobbyists use Fiverr to,
well, make money. Some users are even quite
lucrative on the site, thanks to their Fiverr gigs.
Don't be fooled by the low price of gigs on Fiverr
though. Many sellers make a lot of money on Fiverr.
Though, you're probably wondering to yourself, how
do you make money on Fiverr in the first place?
Tips for making money on Fiverr
Anyone can make money from setting up a few
Fiverr gigs. Though, a lot of people find it difficult to
actually keep making money on the site. So, to help
out, here are some tips from Fiverr experts that
may help people like you make money on Fiverr.
1. Provide a unique service or, alternatively, provide
a service that you know others can use. By now,
there are many users on Fiverr doing similar gigs-
don't let that stop you, though. As long as you have
something that people feel comfortable buying, you
have the potential to make money on the site.
2. Find gigs to sell that you can do repetitively. Most
of the Fiverr gigs you complete will be the same
gig. If you can't handle working on the same gig for
different clients, you won't be able to take
advantage of the opportunity.
3. Deliver your Fiverr gigs well ahead or on time.
They say to under promise and over deliver for any
gig, and that rings true for Fiverr gigs. It's important
to be honest about your delivery times on Fiverr, so
your clients will understand how long you may need
to complete the gig. Don't forget to do your best to
provide a quality gig-many of the best Fiverr users
get repeat customers for that reason.
4. Optimize your Fiverr listings. You can't just make
a plan Fiverr listing-take the time to add photos,
videos and a keyword-optimized description to your
Fiverr gigs. Taking time to ensure that your listings
are 'visible' will allow more people to find them and,
well, buy them.
5. Work towards becoming a Level 1 Seller. Fiverr
has seller "levels", each with their own unique set of
perks like the ability to add Gig extras. The most
important thing about these levels however, is that
they place a badge next to your name and gigs
which allows buyers to trust you more. Getting to
level 1 is not difficult. It only requires you to be a
member on Fiverr for at least a month and to
complete 10 orders.
6. See what your competitors on Fiverr are doing.
Take a look at the gigs that are similar to yours that
sell the best. What keywords do they use? What gig
extras do they offer? What kind of gig photo or video
do they have? Use this as inspiration for your own
gigs and to get ideas.
If you always wanted to turn a passion, hobby or
skill into a great side-income, Fiverr is a terrific
place to start. It's free to sign up and to use. Fiverr
does take a 20% cut from all your earnings so it is
something to consider when starting your money
making journey on the microtransaction website.

. Let's help you break the entire process down into simple, easy-to-follow (and understandable) steps. 1. The purpose of your website The first thing you
need to do is make a list of why you want a website. Do you want a website because you want to share your writings or photos with friends or family? Or do you want to sell your products online? 2. Decide on a domain name When you've determined the purpose of your website then it'll be easy to come up with a suitable domain name (ie. name for the website). Don't fall into the "free" trap - many free web hosting service providers gives you a free website name. But what you don't realize is, your website name will be a derivative of "http://www.serviceprovider.com/ subfolder/.../yourMemberID" . Not exactly the most user-friendly nor professional name now. A common misunderstanding is that you can get a domain name for free. While completely free web hosting services exist, domain name registrations are not free. In order to use "http://www.yourname.com" , you need to pay the .COM Registry registration fee. This fee guarantees that your name will be yours to use for the duration of your registration term. If the .COM version of your desired name is not available, you have the option to get the .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .US, .INFO or even .CA, .UK, etc. The list goes on and on... Most people usually go for the .NET version if the .COM is not available. It's completely up to you. If your website is about sharing information, then you should consider .INFO. If your website is for your business, then a .BIZ would be good, too. 3. Your needs Will you be expecting a lot of visitors a day? By a lot, we're talking about in the thousands. Do you have a lot of photos or files to share with your visitors? If yes, then ample bandwidth and disk space will be on your shopping list. If you're setting up an online store AND will be accepting credit card information from your customers, then you'll need to consider advanced security options (ie. SSL certificate). For more information on setting up an online store, click here (link to "Free Web Hosting and Ecommerce" article). If this is your first website and you're just experimenting, then your list will be shorter - all you need is a free web hosting plan. A free web hosting plan will offer you the basic necessities to have a website on the Internet without any of the fancy bells and whistles. 4. Find a reputable free web hosting service Once you have an idea of what you need, you need to find a reputable web hosting service. There are many places you can go to find a service provider. You can do a search for "free web hosting companies" on Google, but do keep in mind that just because a company is listed on the first page of Google doesn't mean it's 100% safe and legit. It's always best to shop around or ask people for referrals and references. Basic things to look for in a free web hosting service plan: It allows you to use your own domain name. Again, you don't want a website name that's "http://www.notyourcompany.com/ notyourfolder/.../yourMemberID" There are no forced ad banners It comes with web hosting storage (for beginners, 100MB is more than enough) It comes with bandwidth/data transfer (for beginners, 1000MB is ample) It comes with email services. With your own domain name, you'll want to be able to setup @ yourdomain.com accounts Once you've found the free web hosting service that best suits your needs, then you can go ahead and start designing your new website and enjoy the fun and joy that a website can bring.
